YGGP is a non-racial, non-religious, non-profit making, non- governmental organization. It is based in Birendranagar-8, Surkhet, Karnali Province. The organization was registered in 2075 BS at District Administration Office Surkhet and affiliated with Welfare Council, Kathmandu and NGO federation too.

Project Overview The project has primarily focused on awareness creation among communities, organic agriculture promotion, and women’s empowerment through a community mobilization approach. In close coordination with local-level major stakeholders, the project staff have been delivering the following services: Formation of women’s, child, and farmers’ groups, with awareness programs on child rights and women’s rights. -Provision of basic education support. -Promotion of fruit, nut, and fodder nurseries. -Facilitation and mobilization of child-centered activities. -Group-based social mobilization. -Training for health workers, school management committees, parents, children, and teachers. -Life skills training for adolescents in chaupadi-prevalent areas. -Youth parliament activities.
